Jatiya Party Co-chairman ABM Ruhul Amin Howladar has submitted his nomination papers for Patuakhali-1 (Sadar, Mirzaganj and Dumki) constituencies in violation of the code of conduct.

Thursday (November 30) ABM Ruhul Amin Howladar is the co-chairman of the Jatiya Party and a former Member of Parliament from this constituency. According to the code of conduct of the elections, no procession or showdown can be held during the filing of nomination papers in the National Assembly elections. A maximum of five proposers and supporters can be present with the candidate at this time. People who are aware of this matter said that Jatiya Party nominated candidate ABM Ruhul Amin Hawladar submitted his nomination papers in a procession with the leaders and workers. At around 3:30 a procession started coming out of Patuakhali District Jatiya Party initiative from the intersection of the city and came towards the returning officer's office and within that procession was Jatiya Party nominated candidate ABM Ruhul Amin Howladar and greeted the people of the city by waving hands. At that time, Jatiya Party activists entered the office of the Deputy Commissioner with slogans like 'Plough, Ruhul Amin'.
Meanwhile, the present government is trying to hold an acceptable election without questionable participation of all, the conscious circles say that if a responsible leader of the main government coalition Jatiya Party violates such election conduct disorder, the election may be questionable.
